The dome-shaped house has 4 bedrooms, all decked out in wood, for 2 to 4 people. These guest rooms, each with their own bathroom, are fantastically light and airy, making for a cheery ambiance in their loft-like location. There is a jacuzzi for guests' relaxation, and relaxation is the name of the game here, as the owner Isabelle set out her vision for Le Chalet Tournesol as something totally peaceful. The area is stunning for mountain biking, hiking, and visiting the lakes and rivers.
Restaurant:
Isabelle's 'table d'hôtes' meals (a popular style of French hotel dinners in which guests eat with the family) are served every evening and use local wild plants as their base.A Word From the Owner:
"Profit from your weekends and holidays by coming to sample the delicacies of life in a mountain dome! A change of scene is assured in an out-of-the-ordinary and ecological house, at the gates of the Ecrins National Park. You will be met with calm and serenity."Hotel Amenities:

What We Say:
The slow rotation of the chalet is a fantastic touch: as it oh-so-gently trickles round in a circle, it sums up the pace of life that is offered to guests here. Of course, for those who are interested, the opportunity to explore the mountains provides a more energetic experience, but whatever you choose to do, you will have a tranquil base in Le Chalet Tournesol. From the Guestbook:
"A huge round of applause to Isabelle who offers more than just a 'chambre d'hôtes' and a meal. Her know-how, her knowledge of the flowers, plants and fruits of the region, which put the sparkle into her hearty and original regional meals. Breakfast is a pure joy with its homemade bread, bio yoghurts, refined jams with fine and unusual flavours.. a real pleasure. You won't be left hungry in the evening either with her homemade cordials, little dishes.. BRILL-IANT!"
"Thanks again for this unforgettable stay, with its magical decor! The welcome is warm and we hope to visit many more times. The good is excellent and substantial and the homemade jams are not to be missed."
"Thank you, thank you to both of you. It was an lovely weekend and we really recharged our batteries! A true little moment of happiness."
